Which one fits you
Choose Staxo if
- You are not ready to open an exchange account and want lessons first.
- You want courses next to your practice, from "What is crypto?" up.
- You do not want a live trading mode in the same app.
- You want a monthly league ranked by P&L %.
Stay with Binance if
- You plan to trade on Binance and want to learn its screens and order types.
- You want to practice futures, including USDⓈ-M and COIN-M contracts.
- You want to reset your virtual funds whenever you like.
- You want to test against Binance's demo API.
What to know before you pick Staxo
- You still need an account. Staxo replaces an exchange account with a free Staxo account, which you create in the app. There is no way to try it without signing up.
- The free plan has limits. It covers 10 coins and up to 10 trades a day. Neither Binance page mentions no limit like that. Pro opens all top 100 coins and removes the daily limit.
- It is not a rehearsal for Binance. Staxo teaches how trading works, and its screens are its own.
- The partner link. You cannot trade real crypto in Staxo. The app does show a Binance partner card with our referral link on some screens, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through it.
Binance Demo Trading alternative FAQ
What is a good alternative to Binance Demo Trading?
If you want lessons next to your practice and no exchange account, Staxo is built for that: 42 short courses and $500 in demo money on iPhone and Android. Staxo is our app, so compare it for yourself. If you plan to trade on Binance, its own demo is the better practice.
Does Binance Demo Trading need KYC?
Binance says only a Binance account is needed, with no identity check (KYC) and no deposit, subject to its eligibility requirements. It also says Demo Trading is available in certain countries and regions only.
Will Staxo prepare me for Binance's screens?
Not directly. Staxo teaches how orders, charts and risk work, but its screens are its own. If you know you will trade on Binance, practice in Binance's demo as well.
Is Staxo connected to Binance?
Staxo is not run by Binance and does not trade on your Binance account. Binance is an affiliate partner: our footer and some app screens carry a referral link, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through it.
Do I need an account to use Staxo?
Yes. Staxo needs a free account, which you create in the app after downloading it from the App Store or Google Play. The account keeps your demo portfolio, course progress and league ranking.
